Part v - the organization's permanent endowment consists of one donor restricted fund established to provide a source of income for ongoing operating expenses.

PART X, LINE 2:

The organization follows the provisions of accounting for uncertainty in income taxes under the income taxes topic of the codification. The codification requires the evaluation of tax positions, which include maintaining its tax-exempt status and the taxability of any unrelated business income, and does not allow recognition of tax positions which do not meet a "more-likely-than-not" threshold of being sustained by the applicable tax authority. Management does not believe it took any tax positions that would not meet this threshold.

THE FIVE HOSPITALS PRIMARILY SERVED BY THE RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE ARE UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND MEDICAL SYSTEM, JOHNS HOPKINS HOSPITAL, SINAI HOSPITAL, MT. WASHINGTON PEDIATRIC HOSPITAL AND KENNEDY KRIEGER INSTITUTE. THERE ARE NO SPECIFIC GEOGRAPHIC PARAMETERS REGARDING SERVICE, AS THE HOUSE SERVES FAMILIES FROM EVERY PART OF THE STATE OF MARYLAND AS WELL AS ALL CORNERS OF THE WORLD. TO BE ELIGIBLE TO STAY AT THE HOUSE, A FAMILY MUST HAVE A CHILD AGE 21 OR YOUNGER RECEIVING TREATMENT AT ANY ONE OF THE AREA HOSPITALS. THE FAMILIES MUST BE REFERRED BY A SOCIAL WORKER FROM THE HOSPITAL TO STAY AT THE HOUSE. THE HOUSE HAS 55 ROOMS, INCLUDING 9 SUITES AND 46 STANDARD GUEST ROOMS.
