“Prosperity now's conflicts of interest policy and a conflict of interest declaration statement are distributed annually to all members of the board of directors. The directors must answer a series of questions to disclose any conflicts of interest and sign the statement. Also, prosperity now's employees' handbook contains a conflict of interest policy that all employees must sign. Upon the first knowledge by an interested person that prosperity now is considering or has considered a transaction or arrangement with an entity or individual with which the interested person has an interest, the interested person must disclose the existence and nature of his or her interest to the president. After disclosure of the interest, the interested person may not participate in consideration of the proposed transaction or arrangement and is not present for the consideration of or vote on such transaction unless the president requests information from the interested person.”

This data was reviewed and deliberated by the organization's board, which also conducted a formal review of the president's performance.
