Form 990, Part III, Line 3

"in july, 2017, the parent union (afscme international) approved the dissolution and merger of council 26 with another council. The organization is still in the process of merging its assets with the district of columbia afscme council 20 (council 20). As part of this agreement all of fixed assets from the organization were transferred over to council 20. Additionally, all of the operating expenses of the organization are paid directly by council 20 and reimbursed by regular operating and administrative payments. Once the transition is complete council 26 will cease operations and file the required terminal reports.
