Compliance with conflict of interest policy: employees of tuerk house, inc. Must avoid any conflict of interest of interest or the appearance of having engaged in a conflict of interest. You may not become involved in any business, commercial activity or behavior with any patient, their family or friends, even if the patient, their family or friends wishes you to do so. These activities undermine tuerk house's mission to provide responsible care. To discuss and clarify any potential conflict of interest, you should contact your supervisor or respective leadership person. This policy applies to board members, staff and certain volunteers/interns of tuerk house. A volunteer/intern is covered under this policy if that person has been granted significant independent decision making authority with respect to financial or other resources of the organization. Persons covered under this policy are hereinafter referred to as "interested parties."
