To accomplish this goal, the organization will compile hebrew folk music that promotes peace, then translate such music into arabic and other languages. Una Vez Mas In 2015 A Culture of Peace produced Una Vez Mas. A documentary about an individual who had a tragic, life altering accident while surfing. Overcoming being a quadriplegic, he became a news anchor and has led a beautiful and productive life. The film documents his return to the ocean, assisted by loving friends and family. The documentary was aired on TV and was subsequently nominated for NATAS recognition. Earlier this year (2016) the movie was honored with three EMMYs.$5,303-
The Caborca Jew: A Mexican Story documentary won the viewers choice award at the San Diego Jewish Film Festival Additionally, A Culture of Peace continued its collaboration with the House of Israel at Balboa Park and with other community organizations. Given the success of the three documentary films that ACOP has produced, a new fundraising drive was launched to strengthen the internal resources both human and technical for future projects.$4,861-
Yearning Israels songs of peace. The organization has been working to publish a book to introduce and highlight Israels songs of peace. During the year, the graphic design and editing moved forward nicely. We currently expect to have the book ready and sent to the publisher in 2017 as part of the organization's celebration of Israel's 70th anniversary.$2,336-
