Mission

Community Care of the Lower Cape Fear (CCLCF) seeks to improve the health and quality of life of the patients it serves by collaborating with patients, health care providers, hospitals, health departments, community partners, and departments of social services to promote medical best practicesand reduce care costs using disease management and care management services.

Community Care of the Lower Cape Fear (CCLCF) provided care management services to more than 100,000 Medicaid and Health Choice enrollees in North Carolina.

Financial Statement Notes

Part X : FIN48 Footnote

The organization is exempt from federal income taxation under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Additionally, it does not generate business income unrelated to its exempt purpose and therefore has made no provision for income taxes or uncertain tax positions in the financial statements. There are no federal or state tax audits of the organization in progress and CCLCF believes it is not subject to tax examinations for fiscal years prior to FY 2013/14.
