Mission
Pdi supports research, development, education and programs with application in defense and security and collaborates with educational institutions, the military/intelligence community, the state of north carolina, the federal government and other private institutions.
Created to promote economic development by maintaining an incubator facility for companies in north carolina engaged in the research and development of technologies associated with military and homeland security as well as a lab to conduct research and development testing.
