“Policies - Form 990 Review Process - A complete copy of Form 990 is made available to all Officers, Representatives and Trustees of the North Bergen Firemens Relief Association for review prior to filing. All questions and comments are addressed and resolved through telephone conversations, e-mails and virtual meetings. A vote is taken to file the reviewed and approved Form 990.”

“Conflict of Interest Policy - All Officers, Representatives and Trustees are required to review the North Bergen Firemens Relief Associations written conflict of interest policy at each Board meeting. Compliance with this policy is documented in the minutes of the meeting.”

“Policies - Process for Determining Compensation - The Representatives of the North Bergen Firemens Relief Association determine the compensation of the Officers in accordance with the By-Laws of the North Bergen Firemens Relief Association. The Representatives use comparable compensation data along with time requirements and available North Bergen Firemens Relief Association funding. A vote is then taken and annual compensation amounts are approved. The compensation of the Trustees and Representatives are determined in a similar manner by the Officers of the North Bergen Firemens Relief Association.”
