“The board of directors is comprised of fifteen active members. The term of office shall be three years with one-third elected each year.”

“The officers of the society; the president, vice-president, recording secretary, corresponding secretary and treasurer are elected from the board of directors at the next regular meeting following the annual meeting. All officers serve a term of one year and are elected annually by a voice vote with a majority necessary to carry the vote. All board members and officers are volunteers and not compensated.”

“Before the form 990 is filed, it will be presented to the governing board for review and signed off by all members present.”

“Tthe executive committe shall regularly and consistently monitor and enforce compliance with this policy by reviewing annual statements and taking such other actions as are necessary for effective oversight.”

“The purpose of this organization shall be charitable, scientific, literary and educational, with particular emphasis upon bringing together those persons interested in the history of the fallbook area and the preservation of its artifacts.”
