Wage increases are weighed against current pre-set policies and gauges including but not limited to the financial health of the organization at the time of the annual budget assessment, cpi inflation calculator published by the us bureau of labor statistics, internally held investment goals, and finally, by assesses proposed changes to wages by comparing the industry standard in our geographic region published annually by the nonprofit association of oregon wage & benefit survey of the nonprofit sector. For all other positions, the composition of the body that reviews and approves compensation arrangement is dictated by our annual wage increase statement. The parties completing the assessment and approval are the finance director, executive director, board finance committee, and board of directors. Executive directors salary is dictated by the above means and assessed by the executive director evaluation committee as well as our full board of directors on an annual basis. The process described here was last completed in 2023.

Additional Explanations

Form 990, Part III, Line 4C

In 2022-2023, bradley angle maintained momentum with our recent initiative designed to interrupt the cycle of intergenerational violence and trauma experienced by survivors from the black and african american community. The kinship project, which is an expansion of our healing roots program (serving black and african american survivors), offers culturally specific and trauma-informed services that promote healing for young people aged 6-18 who have witnessed domestic violence and whose parents are being served in healing roots. The program is designed to help participating youth increase their resilience and self-worth, improve health and wellbeing, and increase their sense of belonging. In 2022-2023, we served 179 total participants in both healing roots and kinship (66 adults and 113 children). Across our six programs, we served 630 total participants. We also provided 38,977 safe nights through our housing and shelter programs.

FORM 990, PART XII, LINE 2C:
