“The Executive Council has the responsibility and authority to make any necessary adjustments to the Constitution and By-Laws for compliance. The Executive Council approves the annual budget and subsequent amendments to the budget, creates and serves on committees to work toward the goals of ACET, approves recommendations made by committees, and sets the fee schedules for conferences and workshops. The Executive Director leads the planning of the conferences and workshops, including registration, facilites, exhibitors, and printing. The Executive Director maintains mailings, legislative information and updates, and other duties assigned by the President and/or Executive Council.”

“The Executive Director and/or Treasurer provide copies of Form 990 to all Executive Council members. Form 990 is distributed prior to filing of the form with the IRS. Notice of availability of Form 990 is posted on the organizations website and provided to any member requesting a copy.”

“Compensation for the Executive Director is determined by the following process The Associations President and Past-Presidents committee create a plan of work to be completed by the Executive Director and assigns a compensation amount to the contracted services chosen for that year. The Executive Council votes to accept or reject the proposed compensation.”

“The ACET organization posts the Constitution and By-Laws on its website www.acetx.org. The financial statements are not posted on the website but are available to the public upon request.”
