Under erisa the plan is prohibited from entering into transactions between the plan and the officers of the plan without specific request of the united states department of labor. Currently, the plan has not requested any exemptions for these types of transactions. Additional Explanations

Form 990, Part III, Line 3

The board of trustees of delmarva united food and commercial workers health and welfare fund, the plan's sponsor, voted on october 29, 2013, to begin proceedings to terminate the plan as soon as practicable. The trustees anticipated a termination date 2016. Plan management considered liquidation of the plan to be imminent upon the decision to terminate the plan. Final distributions will be determined based on participant eligibility as of december 31, 2013, and will be made as soon as possible after the termination date. During the period ended july 31, 2016, the plan completed the process of liquidating the assets and terminated the plan.

PART X, LINE 2:

Accounting principles generally accepted in the unites states of america require plan management to evaluate tax positions taken by the plan and recognize a tax liability if the plan has taken an uncertain position that more likely than not would not be sustained upon examination by the internal revenue service. The plan is subject to routine audits by taxing jurisdictions; however, there are currently no audits for any tax periods in progress. The plan believes it is no longer subject to income tax examinations for years prior to 2013.
