“Provide opportunities for high school and younger youth of the saline county area to participate in organized, competitive soccer: the ssc is commited to developing the "whole" child concept with emphasis on developing individual talent, fostering team spirit, requiring and demostrating sportmanship on and off the playing field and creating an environment for growth of the child into responsible citizenship. The ssc is also committed to working to provide quality soccer opportunities to all the youth of salina regardless of race, gender, creed, or income. This association is also commited to providing a safe environment for the youth participating by working with the coaches to improve their skills, ability and leadership necessary.”

“Approximately 300 youth soccer players comprising 24 youth soccer teams in salina, ks and the saline county, ks area are served by the club in areas of leadership development, skill development, and team sportsmanship. The teams are served by approximately 14 head coaches and other volunteers.”
