Mission

The mainstream coalition is dedicated to creating a more representative and responsive government vy empowering informed participation and meaningful actionin the political process. We envision a kansas political system that represents all of its constituents.

Primary exempt purpose is to promote separation of religion and government. Mainstream coalition also believes an informed and active electorate is vital for a government dedicated to being responsive to all its citizenry.

ITS GOALS ARE TO INCREASE VOTER TURNOUT, ESPECIALLY IN PRIMARY ELECTIONS WHERE TURNOUT IS LOW; ASSIST VOTERS IN UNDERSTANDING THE VOTING PROCESS, HELP THEM FIND INFORMATION THAT WILL ENHANCE THEIR VOTING DECISIONS, AND EDUCATE PEOPLE ABOUT THE NEED TO BE INFORMED VOTERS.WITH OUR 100+ VOLUNTEER AMBASSADORS AND INTERN CANVASSERS WORKING THROUGH THE SPRING, SUMMER, AND FALL, WE WERE ABLE TO RECORD AN 82% VOTER TURNOUT OF THE VOTERS WE CONTACTED, VS. AN OVERALL VOTER TURNOUT IN KANSAS AT 56%. AMONG PEOPLE WHO SAID THEY WERE GENERALLY NON-VOTERS, 41% OF THEM VOTED IN THE FALL 2018 ELECTION. WE PLAN TO INCREASE OUR PROGRAM AND VISABILITY NEXT YEAR AS WELL.
