TO EXPAND ACCESS TO PATIENTS IN NEED THE ORGANIZATION OPERATES A SCHOOL BASED CLINIC WITHIN THE SHAWNEE MISSION SCHOOL DISTRICT, OUTREACH SERVICES AT A LOCAL DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SHELTER, AND A MOBILE INTEGRATED HEALTH UNIT (MIH) IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE CITY OF OLATHE, KANSAS FIRE DEPARTMENT. IN ADDITION, IT HAS BEEN THE DESIGNATED REFUGEE HEALTHCARE PROVIDER FOR ITS SERVICE AREA SINCE EARLY 2023. APPROXIMATELY 90% OF PATIENTS LIVE BELOW 200% OF THE FEDERAL POVERTY LEVEL, 55% OF MEDICAL VISITS ARE PROVIDED TO UNINSURED PATIENTS AND 48% OF PATIENTS ARE BEST SERVED IN A LANGUAGE OTHER THAN ENGLISH. |
