“Persons covered by the policy may be required to annually disclose or provide an update of their interests to the shawnee county farm bureau president on a formal disclosure form. Disclosure may include: listing family members, substantial business or investment holdings, and other transactions or affiliations with businesses and other organizations which could present a conflict of interest. For each interest disclosed to the shawnee county farm bureau president, he/she will determine whether to (a) take no action; (b) assure full disclosure to the board of directors and other individuals covered by the policy; (c) ask the person to excuse themselves from participation in related discussions or decisions; or (d) ask the person to resign from his or her position with the shawnee county farm bureau.”
