“Class "a" members (members): any rural independent local exchange carrier serving less than 25,000 access lines and holding a certificate of convenience and authority from the kansas corporation commission (kcc) to provide basic telecommunications service in a specific geographic area in kansas with carrier of last resort obligations, is eligible for class "a" membership in the cck. Class "a" members are eligible for holding a board of directors position.advocacy partners (partners): any individual, firm, partnership, corporation or cooperative with interests in common with cck, as determined by the board of directors in its sole discretion, and furnishing or supplying goods or services to current class "a" members, and not otherwise eligible for class "a" membership, is eligible to become an advocacy partner in the cck. Advocacy partners are not eligible to hold a board of directors position or to vote on issues before the cck. Associate members (associate): any individual, firm, partnership, corporation or cooperative with interests in common with the cck, as determined by the board of directors in its sole discretion, and furnishing or supplying goods or services to current class "a" members, and not otherwise eligible for class "a" membership, is eligible to become an associate member in the cck. Associate members are not eligible to hold a board of directors position or to vote on issues before the cck.”
