Form 990, Part XII

The board of directors appoints the cpa audit firm on an annual basis. The management team approves the drafted financial statements and the final financial statement is provided to the board of directors.

Financial Statement Notes

Schedule D, Page 3, Part X

The organization has been recognized by the internal revenue service as a not-for-profit corporation as described in section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code and is exempt from federal income taxes on related income. However, income from certain activities not directly related to the organizations tax-exempt purpose may be subject to taxation as unrelated business income. In addition, the organization qualifies for the charitable contribution deduction under section 170(b)(1)(a). Fasb asc 740, income taxes, provides guidance on recognition, classification, interest and penalties, disclosure and transition. As of december 31, 2024 and 2023, the organization did not record any penalties or interest associated with uncertain tax positions. The organizations federal information returns prior to 2021 are closed and management continually evaluates expiring statutes of limitations, audits, proposed settlements, changes in tax law and new authoritative rulings.
