Such reviews shall, at minimum, include the following subjects: whether compensation arrangements and benefits are resaonable, based on competent survey information, and the result of arms length bargaining, and whether partnerships, joint ventures and arrangements with management organizations conform to the organizations written policies, are properly recorded, reflect reasonable investments of payments for goods and services, further charitable purposes, and do not result in inurement impermissible private benefit or in an excess benefit transaction”

“Independent board members made decisions regarding (non-independent board member and CEO/Director) Carole Wards compensation at schedule board meetings annually. Surveys of comparable nonprofit director salaries were referenced and the organizations compensation of its director was well under reasonable amounts throughout the year under review.”

“Statement of Program Service Accomplishments Community Development: We serve a total of 486 separate communities with a 3-month Portable Bible School education, graduating 34,249 indigenous leaders equipped with long-term transformative training and a Bible in their own language. Trained leaders carry local solutions demonstrated by 4,274 ppl receiving much-needed intense trauma counseling dedicating 35 new church buildings professionally constructed. These churches now facilitate not only church services but become community centers for further training, schools, community events and more. We are taking 3,890 women through community-based empowerment programs, distributing 20,000+ bibles strategically in native languages, and bringing 44,957 known people to a saving knowledge of God.”

“Part III Statement of Program Service accomplishments contd Prayer and Evangelism: These teams provide rare and necessary community organizing and cohesion to see all other public and private investments flourish in the gateway cities of Gulu and Juba and beyond, uniting political and religious leaders to serve selflessly and wisely, providing natural ground for people and pastors to connect with God and each other, hosting national reconciliation events, visiting those in prison and hospitals, seeing 566 people give testimony of Gods healing in their lives, and bringing 13,468 known people a saving knowledge of God in the activities of the Prayer and Evangelism teams. Education & Discipleship: Provided primary school education for 1,211 children, secondary education for 277 children, K-12 and vocational training for 400+orphans in our care, continued to renovate a 5-acre property to house and educate these youth coming off street life and reducing crime, serving additional community youth with workshops, and reached hundreds of thousands listening to our two radio stations with journalism, preaching, teaching, encouragement, and community engagement. Through these efforts, 1,782 people entered into a saving knowledge of God. Economic Empowerment: Invested in land and property improvements for long-term local revenue sustainability through agriculture. Cultivated 160+ acres by farming maize, soy beans and rice on our 270 acre farm outside of Gulu. The community continues to utilize the toilets and well drilled for the community. Tractor and implements have been sourced for purchases for long-term agriculture work and vacational training for orphaned youth cared for by Favor. Animal husbandry increasing through chickens and goats, and bridal and event rental business expanded. These small business start ups are to economically empower and train the orphaned youth and provide internship opportunities.”
