This year we helped a local food bank and High School get Solar Panels and EV charging infrastructure. We also are educating local High school Juniors are green career pathways.

Launched the Green Career Pathways program at Madras High School: Empowering young people with education and mentorship in clean energy, this program builds pathways to living-wage careers, fostering self-sufficiency and prosperity in underserved communities through collaboration with educators, installers, and trainers. Hosted the first every Sun Day Solar Fest at Drake Park A community awareness event featuring local climate conscious organizations while teaching attendees how solar energy can power a more sustainable future. Hosted the 11th annual Go Clean Energy Conference at Central Oregon Community College, A dynamic forum that connects community members, businesses, and local government to collaborate on advancing clean energy solutions and fostering innovation, education, and resiliency for a sustainable future. 30+ Speakers, 2 conference rooms, community college auditorium. 350 Deschutes served as project coordinator for three Pacific Power community grants: The purchase and installation of a 15.2 kW solar system at Madras High School. This system will save the school money, supports renewable energy generation, and fosters community engagement and education in Jefferson County. The purchase and installation of Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure at Madras High School. The electric vehicle charging stations advance clean transportation, and provide EV charging access at the district's facilities. The Giving Plate-a Bend, Oregon nonprofit dedicated to fighting food insecurity and serving over 4,800 individuals monthly-installed a 14.4 kW solar system with 36 panels, designed to offset 100% of the organization's annual 26,000 kWh electricity usage. This grant empowers The Giving Plate to direct more resources toward their core programs, enhancing their ability to serve families in need with dignity and hope.$105,855$137,969
