Little keswick school operates as a not-for-profit 501 (c) (3) private therapeutic, special-education boarding school for boys the school fosters nurturing relationships, intensive clinical interventions, and an individualized education for 32 boys in a highly structured and safe environment boys between the ages of nine and 18 years of age are served who have a complex set of social, emotional, cognitive and behavioral challenges the most common disorders are anxiety disorders, mood disorders, processing deficits, social functioning difficulties, organization and attention deficits, developmental challenges and learning issues students typically have average to superior intelligence the school does not serve boys with drug and alcohol involvement, social maladjustment, or conduct disorders the school's philosophy supports both academic and social/emotional growth for students and their families by providing specialized program components in academic, clinical, and residential services
