“Membership comes from companies signing the organization's membership application and upon payment of membership dues. All members of the organization agree to abide by the policies and governing documents of the organization. There are currently two classes of members including steering members and associate members. Steering members pay a higher fee, gain board seats and a vote on officers elections specifically.”

The board of directors evaluate the disclosures to determine whether they involve actual conflicts of interest and may attempt to develop alternatives to remove the conflict from the situation.”
