Mission and Program Overview

Mission

JUMPSTART's primary purpose is to reduce the rate of recidivism in cooperation with donors, churches and the community. JUMPSTART disciples current and former prisoners and assists with re-entry to society. We accomplish our mission through Community Partnerships to address the spiritual, educational, employment, healthcare, housing, and family relationship needs.

RECIDIVISM STATISTICS WERE REVIEWED IN LATE 2024 DEMONSTRATING A 96% SUCCESS RATE. FEWER THAN 4% OF RELEASED, SUCCESSFUL GRADUATES HAD RETURNED TO PRISON 3 YEARS POST RELEASE.
