Once cliftonlarsonallen completes its work on the irs form 990, it submits a draft to the cfo, duane a. Wernecke. Mr. Wernecke reviews the form 990 and uploads a copy to the svwc foundation board portal and alerts board members that the return has been uploaded and is available to view. Foundation board members will be instructed to contact the cfo with any questions, comments or concerns that they may have prior to the filing of the form with the irs.

Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11B

Management electronically distributes the federal form 990 prior to filing with the irs. Questions and or concerns by the organizations officers and board members may be filed electronically with a management representative. Discussions concerning the form 990 are also entertained at the next available board meeting.

The policy is reviewed by the board members annually. If a conflict is found to exist, the affected board member is asked to abstain from serving.

Compensation for the ceo is reviewed annually and compared to industry standards by svwc's compensation consultant and by the executive committee of the board of trustees. Compensation for all senior management is reviewed by svwc's ceo, director of hr, and by an industry salary consultant on a quarterly or semi-annual basis. There are two endowments presently held by the foundation. The first endowment instructs the foundation that any income generated from the endowment is to be used for the fellowship fund of westminster canterbury of winchester, inc. The second endowment instructs the foundation that any income generated from the endowment is only to be used for the purchase and/or restoration of books for the library.

PART X, LINE 2:

The organization follows the income tax standard regarding the recognition and measurement of uncertain tax positions, which clarifies the accounting for uncertainty in income taxes recognized in an entity's consolidated financial statements and prescribes a recognition threshold and measurement principles for the consolidated financial statement recognition and measurement of tax positions taken or expected to be taken on a tax return that are not certain to be realized. Management has determined that it does not have any material uncertain tax positions as of december 31, 2022 or 2021.
