“To establish, operate, and promote a foreign-trade zone located in the central pennsylvania region and stimulate economic development within that region by managing, coordinating, marketing, and encouraging companies to compete in foreign markets by utilizing the foreign-trade zone to reduce the cost associated foreign-trade zone; thereby encouraging companies to operate within the united states and specifically in the central pennsylvania region, as opposed to locating outside of the united states, to compete in foreign-trade markets; thereby revitalizing the economy of the central pennsylvania region and combating community deterioration; and thereby lessening the burden on local municipalities and governmental agencies. Further, the pennsylvania foreign-trade zone corporation is organized for any other related lawful purpose for which a non-profit corporation may be incorporated.”
