Mission

To hold title to real property in the highlander neighborhood, collect income and return the net income to seventy-five north revitalization corporation, and support charitable purposes by facilitating a healthy neighborhood with quality amenities.

To facilitate the creation of healthy, sustainable, mixed-income communities in the highlander neighborhood of north omaha and to expand access to quality schools, recreational facilities, retail operations, and other amenities to attract new public and private investment in the area.

After the benefit of tax credits were realized, the loans that supported construction of the accelerator building were forgiven and the assets were transferred to seventy-five north revitalization corporation, a related party, to continue the program operations.

PART X, LINE 2:

The footnote related to uncertain tax positions presented in the consolidated financial statements which include this organization reads as follows: qalicb is generally exempt from income taxes under section 501(c)(2) of the u.s. Internal revenue code. Accordingly, no income taxes are included in these financial statements. Accounting standards require disclosure and recognition in financial statements of positions taken in a tax return about the treatment of transactions and events that more likely than not would not be sustained upon examination by tax authorities. Tax positions relative to a not-for-profit organization include activities that may endanger its exempt purpose and status as an exempt organization. The corporation believes it complies with all relevant tax laws and regulations and has no significant uncertain tax positions; accordingly, no liability is recorded for uncertain tax positions.
