Mission

To provide disaster relief 1st responders with the tools, equipment clothing necessary to facilitate relief efforts and safeguard their health from unnecessary exposure to injury and health risk.

During fiscal 2015 the organization participated in four programs assisting nevada residents. Disaster preparedness program, shelter assistance program, los angeles county fires, tools and protective clothing.

Governance Explanations

The governing board acts as the compensation committee for approval of compensation paid and all expense reimbursements made for program administration and fund raising cost. No compensation was paid for the fiscal year ended 9-30-2016. It is the board of directors responsibility to determine that compensation is commensurate with the job requirements and skill level of the individual performing the task. The members of the board have sufficient experience in the work environment to make the determination of the adequacy of the individuals skills and the fairness and competitiveness of the compensation paid.

Pursuant to the requirements of the attorney general of the state of california the governing documents, conflict of interest policy, federal tax returns and financial statements are open for public inspection upon request.
