Aisha N Postpartum Depression Awareness Foundation Inc

We are a non profit organization that is trying to create awareness of Postpartum Depression awareness through word of mouth in our events. We celebrate two events through the year to speak to people about this illness, which are the Easter Egg Hunt event and "Mommy & Me Christmas". We need help to be able to have a facility to provide assistance to those mothers who are suffering from this illness. We want to provide help with their stressors, provide information of employment agencies, suicide prevention information, and domestic violence prevention or help information. We do not request money from our clients, we are here to help them in their moment of need. We lost a family member to Postpartum Depression and we do not want families to go through the same as we did. The more we spread the word that it exists the more people are aware of the problem.

We create awareness of Postpartum Depression, we do not make profits through sales, or have any salaries currently. What we receive in donations goes back to the community by helping those mothers in need, mostly material rather than monetary.
