Schedule A, Part I, Line 3 EXEMPTION AS A HOSPITAL:

Aspire indiana health, inc.'s reason for public charity status is that it is a cooperative hospital service organization described in section 170(b)(1)(a (iii). Aspire indiana health is not required to attach schedule h because it is not required to be licensed, registered, or similarly recognized by a state as a hospital. Per indiana code 16-21-2-2, the state of indiana only requires hospitals, ambulatory outpatient surgical centers, birthing centers, and abortion clinics to be licensed with the state. Aspire indiana health operates a health center.
