To serve as a non-profit supporting corporation for the neighborhood developers, inc., a massachusetts non-profit community-based corporation, the corporate mission of which is exclusively for the charitable and educational purposes of involvement in and promotion of cooperative efforts by all of the diverse elements in the cities of massachusetts as a strategy for encouragement of neighborhood rehabilitation and revitalization within the designated program neighborhoods.

Management reviews and provides a draft of the tax return to the board of directors of the organization for review. All desired changes are communicated to the auditor and considered for compliance with relevant tax laws prior to being applied and the tax return being filed.

The conflict of interest policy is reviewed with the board each year and the board signs off. Any new contracts are reviewed with the conflict of interest policy in mind. If any potential conflict arises it is reported to the board for discussion and review.
