The process also includes contemporaneous substantiation of the analysis and decision regarding the compensation arrangement. Compensation is reviewed at least annually and the process is administered to assure independence, avoid conflicts of interest, ensure reasonableness and market comparability of total compensation, and to otherwise abide by pertinent laws and regulations.

IRS990/Desc0SAINT THOMAS REGIONAL HOSPITALS operates four hospitals namely, Saint Thomas Stones River Hospital, Saint Thomas DeKalb Hospital, Saint Thomas Highlands Hospital, and Saint Thomas River Park Hospital with a combined total of 202 BEDs PROVIDING SERVICES WITHOUT REGARD TO PATIENT RACE, CREED, NATIONAL ORIGIN, ECONOMIC STATUS, OR ABILITY TO PAY. During fiscal year 2020, Saint Thomas Regional Hospitals treated 4,134 adults and children for a total of 22,106 patient days of service. The hospital also provided services for 78,606 outpatient visits, which included 3,413 outpatient surgeries and 42,759 Emergency Room Visits. As part of the Ascension Catholic health ministry, the filing organization served in support of Ascension's commitment to both care for patients and communities and support caregivers and other associates through the challenges of the COVID-19 global pandemic in FY20.
