“Our childrens program Dios Ama A Los Ninos serves in two locations in rural Carazo Nicaragua. At Iglesia Yo Soy Jehova in the Roman Esteban community, we have close to 60 active kids in this program. Each week the kids meet for a bible lesson and nutritious meal provided by 4everForward. This has been a huge blessing to the church and the community as a whole. We have seen significant growth in the local church and spiritual growth in the children. This community has several challenges on the families as stable work is hard to find and meals are not always an option for the kids. We also provide school uniforms each year for all of the kids. Our Second childrens program is located in the Los Encuentros community at the Monte Santidad church where we have closer to 70 active kids. This community is more rural so employment opportunities for families are even more limited with the average daily income for families at $5 per day. Here as well the kids meet each week for bible lessons and a meal. We also provide school uniforms here as well. In 2024 the costs for running this program were $8,600 all funds provided by our wonderful donors Our Family care ministry has many aspects. We provide food packs and faith-based support to many families throughout the year. This can come at some of the hardest times for families such as post flood or during droughts when agriculture suffers. We also provide medicines for families who would otherwise not be able to afford them. We provide wheelchairs and other medical supplies for those with limited means and would not be able to afford these much-needed supplies. We keep faith-based counseling and support at the forefront of each need provided for. Sadly, we have to help some families at the hardest times of their lives while they are suffering a family loss. We help pay for coffins and burial expenses or simply provide bread and coffee for the community as they come to pay their respects. One such case was a young girl Magdelena who was born with spinabifida and hydrocephalus. Her father sells wood and makes about $2 per day. Her mother cant work due to caring for Magdelena. We provided help with doctors visits and many medical supplies such as adult diapers, wound care supplies, dietary assistance and sadly in October of 2024 when Magdelena couldnt fight any longer we covered the complete costs of her funeral. While this benefits only one family it actually had a far-reaching blessing to the whole community and everyone that follows us on social media as far away as Malta and the United States. In 2024 alone we provided over 1.5 tons of food, seven wheelchairs medicines for over twenty families private medical care for 5 at a cost of over $8,000 part from our family care budget and where we short, we pulled from the general budget. The missions house which serves as our local office also serves as where we meet weekly with small groups. We have three groups one teen group, one womens group and one mens group. We have bible studies and private biblical counseling sessions. We have seen lives transformed with these groups and seen teens who once struggled to lead more productive lives. We have seen women come out of depression and now live their lives with great joy. Men have gone from not being part of raising their kids to becoming the role models God intended. This program has a rough cost of $11,000 per year but 2024 had a cost of $12,651. Our church assistance ministry partners with local churches and helps them make much needed repairs to their church buildings. We did not build a new church from the ground up this year but were able to replace rusted roofs, make much needed structural repairs, and sometimes simply paint churches to make them look better. We have done this all over the country from Ometepe Island to Maltagalpa and Diriamba. Our costs this year were $3,600. We have also been able to help families cover costs during hard times by assisting with educational costs for child”
