“The Executive Director of the New Mexico Coalition for Healthcare Value is Brandon Writtenberry, a staff member of Comagine Health under contract to the organization. The Director is running the organization independently but still retains a .05 staffing responsibility to Comagine Health in the area of government relations and in that role, reports to the Executive Director of Comagine Health, Meredith Roberts. The Executive Director is a .5 FTE as of the filing.”

“Voting members, which include Health Care Purchasers, Health Care Providers, Health Plans, and Health Support Organizations, shall elect Directors of the Board and shall vote on such corporate matters as are reserved to the Voting Members under the Bylaws, as amended from time to time. Each Voting Member, shall appoint one designated representative to cast the Members vote at Member meetings.”

“Copies of the Form 990 are provided to all board members for review before submission. Once a majority of the board has approved the return, it is sumbitted for filing.”

“The Board of Directors are required to annually sign a statement which acknowledges that they have received the conflict of interest policy that they read and understand the policy, that they agree to comply with the policy, and that they understand the tax-exempt purpose of the Coalition and the daily activity that further this purpose. The Coalition conducts a periodic review of the activities that could potentially jeopardize its tax-exempt status.”
