“Out My Closet reported total expenditures of 155643 for the 2025 tax year These funds were deployed to advance the organizations mission of supporting unhoused and under-resourced LGBTQ youth and adults through mobile resource delivery empowerment programming and leadership development In 2025 a key area of growth was the intentional investment in contracted team members and community leaders with lived experience ensuring that individuals reflective of the communities served played a central role in program delivery facilitation and outreach This approach strengthens both service impact and workforce development within marginalized populations Out My Closet sustained and expanded its three core program areas Mobile Resource Pop-Up Boutiques 80000 Out My Closet continued its mobile boutique model delivering elevated dignity-centered resource experiences across South Florida and New York City In 2025 the organization served over 2000 unique clients including unhoused LGBTQ youth transgender women asylum seekers and individuals impacted by poverty and housing instability Funds supported logistics transportation inventory management storage and the distribution of high-quality clothing hygiene products and self-care essentials Each activation was implemented in partnership with trusted community-based organizations ensuring safe accessible and affirming service environments Queer Mens Empowerment Workshops 70000 Out My Closet hosted a series of intensive five-hour full-day workshops designed for queer men of color with a minimum of 24 participants per session These workshops are not single-touch engagements but comprehensive multi-component experiences incorporating mental health discussions HIV stigma reduction relationship building creative expression and wellness practices Funds supported facilitators wellness practitioners program materials meals and curated environments that foster deep engagement reflection and community connection Each session is structured to provide sustained interaction peer support and skill-building in a trauma-informed and culturally responsive setting LGBTQ Youth Internship Program 5643 The internship program provided LGBTQ youth with hands-on experience in community service program operations and leadership development Funds supported stipends transportation and participation-related expenses ensuring equitable access for under-resourced participants At the close of the fiscal year Out My Closet retained a surplus of 836985 which will support operational continuity emergency response capacity and the strengthening of program infrastructure in the upcoming year All services were provided at no cost to participants and grounded in principles of dignity access and community empowerment”
