The board will authorize and oversee an annual review of the administration of the conflict of interest policy. The review shall consider the level of compliance with the policy, the continuing suitability of the policy, and whether the policy should be modified and improved.

The compensation of the executive director will be determined by the board, or by an officer or committee to which such authority has been delegated by the board, except as provided in the corporation's conflict of interest policy. The compensation of all other staff and officers will be as determined by the executive director, after consultation with the board to the extent reasonably feasible. The person(s) determining compensation will 1. Obtain data on the compensation of officers holding similar positions of authority within comparable organizations. 2. Set the compensation based on such data and an evaluation of the officer's performance and experience as related to the requirements of the position. 3. Physician education has become our central focus at iof. With the inception of iof's physician education program in 2016, iof became uniquely positioned to set the standard for teaching the fundamental knowledge and skillsets necessary for physicians to practice in this advanced medical specialty. Iof has instructed and certified over 1,000 physicians through our structured, compentency-based and certifed education program. Clearly, this program is successfully channeling physicians into this field, providing them with the appropriate treatment techniques and impacting their treatment of patients. Grant support is used to further develop our curriculum, promote our education program throughout the united states, and enlist experienced instructors who are actively engaged in educating physicians.

THIS ALLOWS PHYSICIANS TO UNDERSTAND HOW ORTHOBIOLOGICS CAN PLAY AN IMPORTANT ROLE IN THE TREATMENT OF ORTHOPEDIC CONDITIONS. THE CONFERENCE SEEKS TO ADVANCE THE FIELD OF ORTHOBIOLOGICS BY HAVING REGULAR PHYSICIAN ATTENDEES, AND PHYSICIANS-IN-TRAINING WHO HAVE A 400 STIPEND ALLOWANCE PLUS CONFERENCE REGISTRATION FEES WAIVED FOR UP TO 40 PARTICIPANTS. IN 2023, THE EDUCATIONAL CONFERENCE HAD ABOUT A 20% GROWTH OVER 2022. GROWTH CONTINUED IN 2024.

IOF HAS INSTRUCTED AND CERTIFIED OVER 1,000 PHYSICIANS THROUGH OUR STRUCTURED, COMPENTENCY-BASED AND CERTIFED EDUCATION PROGRAM. CLEARLY, THIS PROGRAM IS SUCCESSFULLY CHANNELING PHYSICIANS INTO THIS FIELD, PROVIDING THEM WITH THE APPROPRIATE TREATMENT TECHNIQUES AND IMPACTING THEIR TREATMENT OF PATIENTS. GRANT SUPPORT IS USED TO FURTHER DEVELOP OUR CURRICULUM, PROMOTE OUR EDUCATION PROGRAM THROUGHOUT THE UNITED STATES, AND ENLIST EXPERIENCED INSTRUCTORS WHO ARE ACTIVELY ENGAGED IN EDUCATING PHYSICIANS.
