“Team sports is also about building relationships, fostering passion, sportsmanship and learning one's strenghts and weaknesses. Soccer also teaches kids to respect those who are different, an invaluable lesson in today's increasingly diverse society. These benefits are limited in many cases to those who can afford to pay. Our mission is to provide access and the opportnutiy to play soccer to everyhone, especially children that live in poverty and extreme poverty.”

“Soccer assist has held an annual party to solicit donations and sponsors. In 2015 sponsors donated 31,200 and individual donations equaled 17,812. In addition, soccer assist also had several soccer scrimmages which added 635 in additional income. Soccer assist provided 7,000 to soccer clubs for scholarships in 2015 primarily to kids living in poverty or extreme poverty. Soccer assist also spent 23,850 to hold two large scale fund raising events. These two events generated the primary reveneue for the organization.”
