none too fragile theatre is committed to producing theatre of the highest quality, choosing material that stands out as thought-provoking and challenging to both the artist and the audience. Our goal is to provoke and stir dialogue, initiate change in our community, attract professional artists to Akron, provide support to local artists, and give a voice to the great playwrights of this generation, distinguishing Akron as a reputable destination for high quality theatre.

We are a small 76 seat, black box style theatre that produces, on average, 6 full length, live stage, productions with professional actors, directors, craftsman, and technicians. Each of our productions run at least 3 weeks with at least 10 performances each. Original themed sets, props and costumes are made, constructed or procured for each project. We run on a Calendar schedule and run all 12 months.
