Mission and Program Overview

Mission

The mission of the get focused stay focused! Resource center (gfsf rc) is to support the development, implementation and evaluation of the gfsf program which empowers students to achieve self-sufficient and productive lives through a comprehensive planning process that builds intrinsic motivation, knowledge and skills leading to high school graduation, college readiness and completion and successful entry into the workforce centered on students' development and use of a skills-based, online 10-year plan.the organization supports schools and colleges using the gfsf curriculum by offering professional development to teachers, counselors and administrators. It supports an ongoing program evaluation with 20 ca high schools and provides gfsf program information to educators, parents and communities.

The get focused, stay focused (gfsf) nonprofit supports quality implementation of the gfsf career curriculum in partner k12 schools, colleges, and adult schools so that every student develops an informed career choice and 10-year plan for the future. Gfsf also acts as fiscal agent on a number of state and federal workforce development grants.
