“Continued from page 2 -- 4 Community Outreach-Infusion Room Snacks, Support Groups and Classes 5 Wish Program granted quarterly 6 TLC raised over 52,000 in cash in inkind donations from April-December in 2015 7 TLC spent 92.48 of every dollar raised directly on cancer patients through our programs 8 TLC founders and board members are 100 volunteer no salaries 9 TLC received our 501c3 tax exempt status from the IRS 10 TLC is 100 transparent about our financials and post Open Book reports on our website each month. Each of our programs have touched the lives of cancer patients in different ways, but our most unique and impactful program thus far has been our Financial Aid Application Program. So many patients are struggling to make ends meet with the added burden of medical bills. In 2015, we approved 44 applications requesting assistance with monthly bills. The average income of these patients was 996.33 per month. TLC awarded an average of 732.25 per application, roughly 73.4 of the average monthly income. This means that we are making a significant impact on our applicants ability pay their bills and remain in their homes without facing eviction or foreclosure, due to their illness.”
