Bosch camp discovery is a program designed to increase awareness, understanding, and knowledge for at-risk students in the stem (science, technology, engineering and math) content areas with a focus on ecosystems: terrestial and aquatic, organisms and environments, and habitats and adaptations.

Form 990-ez, Part III, Line 31

Avid is a program dedicated to helping students achieve their goals of going to college. The avid class, held within the regular school day, provides support, academic monitoring and tutoring. The writing process, socratic questioning, collaborative learning and reading are the core strategies of the program. It has a proven track record in bringing out the best in students, and in closing the achievement gap. Overcoming adversity scholarship is a program designed to help students achieve their goal of higher education through attendnce, intervention, and recovery. The program awards a scholarship to a senior that has participated in this program. Other reward incentives are provided to eligible students in the program. Adult education scholarship is a program designed to award a scholarship to a student int he adult ed program. Wells fargo foundation - research is a funding that is used to produce leveled texts, online resources for reading, and children's literature to enhance english language arts instruction. This will increase the students' access to books across a variety of reading levels. Radio scholarship is a scholarship that is given annually to a graduating senior from t.l. Hanna high school. The recipient should ideally be continuing their education in the state of south carolina, and pursuing an undergraduate degree in special eduction. Exceptions are made for other fields of study that allow graduates to work with students and/or adults with special needs.

THE AVID CLASS, HELD WITHIN THE REGULAR SCHOOL DAY, PROVIDES SUPPORT, ACADEMIC MONITORING AND TUTORING. THE WRITING PROCESS, SOCRATIC QUESTIONING, COLLABORATIVE LEARNING AND READING ARE THE CORE STRATEGIES OF THE PROGRAM. IT HAS A PROVEN TRACK RECORD IN BRINGING OUT THE BEST IN STUDENTS, AND IN CLOSING THE ACHIEVEMENT GAP. OVERCOMING ADVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP IS A PROGRAM DESIGNED TO HELP STUDENTS ACHIEVE THEIR GOAL OF HIGHER EDUCATION THROUGH ATTENDNCE, INTERVENTION, AND RECOVERY. THE PROGRAM AWARDS A SCHOLARSHIP TO A SENIOR THAT HAS PARTICIPATED IN THIS PROGRAM. OTHER REWARD INCENTIVES ARE PROVIDED TO ELIGIBLE STUDENTS IN THE PROGRAM. ADULT EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP IS A PROGRAM DESIGNED TO AWARD A SCHOLARSHIP TO A STUDENT INT HE ADULT ED PROGRAM. WELLS FARGO FOUNDATION - RESEARCH IS A FUNDING THAT IS USED TO PRODUCE LEVELED TEXTS, ONLINE RESOURCES FOR READING, AND CHILDREN'S LITERATURE TO ENHANCE ENGLISH LANGUAGE ARTS INSTRUCTION. THIS WILL INCREASE THE STUDENTS' ACCESS TO BOOKS ACROSS A VARIETY OF READING LEVELS. RADIO SCHOLARSHIP IS A SCHOLARSHIP THAT IS GIVEN ANNUALLY TO A GRADUATING SENIOR FROM T.L. HANNA HIGH SCHOOL. THE RECIPIENT SHOULD IDEALLY BE CONTINUING THEIR EDUCATION IN THE STATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA, AND PURSUING AN UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE IN SPECIAL EDUCTION. EXCEPTIONS ARE MADE FOR OTHER FIELDS OF STUDY THAT ALLOW GRADUATES TO WORK WITH STUDENTS AND/OR ADULTS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS.
