“1) the mission of true convergence is to reach the youth, young adults and young married couples with the love of god through music and family events, to present them with the love of christ outside the four walls of a church building, and to introduce them to god in a way that is unhindered by denominations. 2) our desire is that once they understand the love of god and wish to choose a different path in their life, we could direct them to a mentor and begin the process of discipleship, whether it is through another non-profit such as the youth for christ or a like-minded outreach, or even within the true convergence outreach. They would be free to seek out a place that fits them best. 3) a place of worship would be recommended whether they would feel at home, with a strong youth group to reach and mentor in a close, friendly atmosphere and cultivate a family type environment, whether they could grow and receive help and counseling.”

“In 2015 true convergence had a hand in two free music events both geared towards inner city teens and young adults. Many lives were changed because of these events. The first event was called "come to the river- and hosted five bands and an illusionist. The second was called "plight up the night", which hosted three bands and a speaker. Messages were on bullying, suicide, and peer pressure.”
