“| Explanation:| Bach-Millennium Music is a high quality intensive musical education program for young opera singers pianists and conductors unique to the West Coast. Held each summer in Santa Clara CA for three weeks we are the only program which offers daily rehearsal time with a conductor and orchestra to each of our students. We offer voice lessons coachings master classes diction coaching workshops and multiple video-recorded performing opportunities. The program culminates in public performances at Santa Clara University and in the Silicon Valley area. As described by our alumni our program is transformative for them. Accomplishments include yearly public performances of a complete opera plus 50+ opera arias and ensembles with orchestra. Each repertoire piece is carefully prepared with a voice teacher and a coach worked on with a diction teacher worked individually with a conductor and brought for rehearsal with the orchestra. There were. 18 students enrolled and an orchestra of 24 in our last season. Another unique feature of our program is our dedication training young conductors in operatic repertoire. Each conducting student works with the opera singers and coaches under the guidance of a master conductor. Then the repertoire is brought in front of the orchestra where it is rehearsed and then performed in public concert.”
