FORM 990, PART III, LINE 1 - ORGANIZATION'S MISSION

The primary charitable mission of del mar family relief fund is to provide aid to disaster victims. The corporation intends to provide monetary relief and compassionate care to those in need and affected by natural or civic disasters, as well as other emergency hardships now and in the future, including and specifically for the employees of tgi international and olva (and its affiliates) and their families, as well as others in the area affected by any given disaster. As such, the corporation's relief program will be open-ended and will include supporting such employees affected by the disaster caused by tropical storm lidia in 2017 and hurricane john in 2018 as well as those employees who may be affected by a future disaster thereby assisting employees (and others) who are victims of all disasters, present or future. The support the corporation provides to these disaster victims shall include immediate access to food and water and ultimately assistance in rebuilding the lives of such victims through monetary assistance, shelter, continued access to food and water, as well as access to supplemental health services, as needed. The need in the wake of natural and civic disasters is immediate as many families are without shelter, electricity and other basic essentials. The corporation intends to expeditiously raise funds to address such short-term needs in the wake of the named disasters, and to continue to have funds on hand to address long-term needs flowing from the named disasters as well as needs (both long and short-term) that may flow from future disasters.
