“Rock'n rooms is a children's charity based in hillsboro, oregon. We serve children with life threatening illnesses at local children's hospitals. When children are experiencing a lengthy hospital stay of 3 weeks or longer, we are there to provide themed hospital room makeovers. We strive to make their hospital experience as positive as possible by transforming their rooms into a comfortable, cheerful, and healing space. Our mission has and continues to be "creating happy faces and healing spaces for children on a difficult journey.”

“During 2024 our organization made a difference in the lives of 148 children who were experiencing lengthy hospitalizations at our area hospitals. We provided themed bedding and room decorations, as well as arts and crafts, stuffed animals, toys, books, and other items to help them cope with their hospitalization. In addition, we provided parent/caregiver support boxes, which contained items that helped the parents who are living in a hospital room with their child. During halloween week we brought 21 bags of halloween decorations and treats to each child hospitalized on the oncology floor at doernbecher. Our bod is made up of volunteers who spend countless hours and drive hundreds of miles to provide these services. Our goal is to provide a bit of cheer to children who are going through a difficult time.”
