“1-this league, was organized to develop and operate a football program in affiliation with pop warner little scholars, inc., in conformity with and pursuant to the principles, rules, and regulations enunciated by said pop warner little scholars, inc., to familiarize young participants with the fundamentals of football, cheer, and dance. To provide them with the opportunity to play in an organized and supervised environment and to teach them that academics and athletics should be joint communal efforts. As well as to seek to implant in the youth of the community the ideals of the good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage, scholarship and reverence, so that they may be fine, stronger and happier youth who will grow to be good healthy adult's. 2-to achieve this, hyfc, inc. Will provide a supervised program under the rules and regulations incorporated herein and referenced in any addendum to this document. All directors, officers and members shall bear in mind that the attainment of exceptional athletic skills or the winning of games is secondary, and molding of future citizens is of prime importance. In accordance with section 501(c)(3) of the federal internal revenue code, hyfc, inc. Shall operate exclusively as a non-profit education organization providing a supervised program of competitive athletic activities. No part of the net earnings shall inure to the benefit of any private shareholder or individual; no substantial part of the activities of which is carrying on propaganda, or otherwise attempting to influence legislation, and which does not participate in or intervene in any political campaign on behalf of any candidate for public office.”

“Tackle and flag football programs: our tackle football program is open to any children who are ages 5 to 14 years old and who are eligible to play in our division. We have scheduled games against other pop warner teams in our division and our season starts august 1. Our flag football program has two seasons, early spring which starts in february and our fall season which starts in august. Our flag football program is designed to allow children to participate in team sports for parents who do not want their children to play tackle football. The flag football program is for children 5 years of age as of august 1 to age 8. The 4 & 5 year old flag program is for kids age 4 & 5 as of august 1. Cheerleading program: participation in the harmony cheer program provides kids an opportunity to perform in an organized, supervised, safety oriented environment. Harmony cheer program is part of the national pop warner program. These progams emphasize fun for all and encourage the development of qualities important long after pop warner days are gone.”

“Pop warner scholastics program: pop warner little scholars, inc. Is the only national youth sports organization in america that requires its participants to perform adequately in the classroom before permitting them to play. We believe that the standards we have set give these children a sense of responsibility and an appreciation for academics and athletics that will help them develop later on in life. The program has academic guidelines and criteria that need to be met in order for a child to participate.”
