Mission and Program Overview

Mission

The mission of the organization is: (a) to provide access and/or exposure to youths and adults in the brooklyn community to athletic, cultural and community events with the expressed goal of enhancing quality of life and affording greater opportunities for personal growth and development. It is anticipated that the access and exposure will be provided through the sponsorship of athletic events and/or leagues career days, community tours field trips and other similar unique programming in and around brooklyn for attendance and/or participation by youths and adults and, if necessary, the provision of financial assistance to defray the costs of such attendance or participation. (b) to support, through funding and/or endorsement, existing services and facilities in brooklyn that are consistent with the corporation's stated purposes identified in subparagraph (a) above; (c) to solicit, receive, maintain and administer a fund or funds of real and/or personal property and apply the whole or a
