Hilltop Farm planning and construction documents: Renovate an existing house into the farms' visitor center to schedule rents and wedding at the large assembly space in the historic main barn. 1,650 square feet with a budget of $300,000.$2,890$2,312
LaSalette Park: Coordinating with Town of Bloomfield, ICP provided project development, funding, construction documents, bidding and construction supervision for a project in the Town owned LaSalette Park in Barn B. Three failing load bearing masonry window lintels were repaired in 2023. In order to improve temperature and light control in an unheated structure Ironwood financed polycarbonate window covers on all opening in Barn B in 2023. The Town of Bloomfield installed the coverings. The house and Barn B is used for park activities such as cross-country events, meetings and art exhibits. ICP and raised funds and donated time on the Art event in May 2024 and Bloomfield School History of People, Places and Events program transportation. Funding came from the Greater Hartford of Bloomfield. ICP board members contributed volunteer hours to Town of Bloomfield invasive plant removal and mowing.$900$658
Auerfarm Infrastructure planning and estimating: Four projects are highlighted. The Carriage Barn reused an existing two level 1870 bank barn for a Farm Store on the lower level and a Multi-use room on the upper level designed to be accessible on both levels. 1,600 square feet with a construction Budget of $284,000. The Learning Center renovated the campus accessible Toilet Rooms, designed a teacher office area with improvements to lighting and acoustics in the main classroom. Improved internal circulation to control sound and classroom access separated the bathrooms allowing off hour access. 1,475 square feet with a Construction budget of $284,000. Farmhouse #147 renovated an 1870 farm house into a small conferencing space on the main floor. The entrance was redesigned to provide accessibility. 610 square feet with a budget of $138,000. The Visitors Parking Lot study notes the expansion of farm education on the parking needs of the campus. The study seeks to see improvements in lighting, traffic flow, communication and parking count. Budget of $150,000. There was donated time on this project.$0$0
