“OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 4: On April 25, 2023 is 6Beds Inc's 9th Year Advocacy day: Unleash Your Advocacy Power: Shape the Future of Residential Care. 6Beds legislative team presented all proposed legislation that will shape the residential care industry's future. Members had the opportunity to hear from influential key speakers, including Assemblymember Ash Kalra, Senator Scott Wiener, Assemblymember Jim Patterson, representatives from DSS, DDS, Alta Regional Center, and others. Thats not all, members who attended this event got 3 FREE CEUs (Continuing Education Units) just for attending. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 5: On June 30, 2023, our special guest speaker Jake Reinhardt, a highly experienced lawyer from the esteemed Gould, Hahn, and Reinhardt Law Office presented current trends in the residential care industry, including labor-related lawsuits. With California being a litigious state, it is crucial that our members who attended this event gained valuable insights into mitigating risks in the residential care industry, including labor-related lawsuits. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 6: On July 31, 2023, Mae Villanueva, Expert Mediator discussed about wage and hour matters in the carehome industry and how our members can avoid costly lawsuits and prolonged disputes in the Adult Residential Facility (ARF) or Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE) by resolving employment-related conflicts and resident/family complaints with mediation. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 7: On August 18, 2023, 6Beds Inc had its 9th Annual Conference free for all ARF& RCFE operators live event on August 18, 2023, from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm at Brea community center. 6Beds Annual Conference is an educational event where all the regulatory agencies such as department of developmental services and department of social services provide presentations on the most current information relevant to ARF and RCFE providers to help them improve their facilities and quality of service to residents. The conference helps ARF and RCFE operators help with compliance therefore minimizing deficiencies and penalties. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 8: On August 19, 2023, 6Beds Inc had its 9th Year Anniversary Gala and Awards Night where we recognized and celebrated the dedication and excellence of select ARF and RCFE caregivers, administrators, and operators. The gala award banquet was held at Marriot hotel. The purpose is to honor caregivers, administrators and operators for many years of excellent service, hardwork and dedication to their residents. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 9: On November 4, 2023, 6Beds Inc held their Training Seminar for ARF and RCFE at the Burlingame Community Center, Sequoia Room, 850 Burlingame Ave. Another successful live event brought to you by 6Beds. These workshops and training seminars are very insightful for ARF and RCFE Operators who participated. Participants were also given arbitration provision and agreement to mediate employment.”
