“Tmfi accomplishments the minerva foundation, inc. (tmfi) was successful in seeking out and expanding its efforts in support of our partners who are impacting our communities in the focus areas of educational development, physical and mental health, economic development, and international awareness. Tmfi is committed to creating opportunities for academic success and addressing the educational and social development needs within our community. Missionas a 501(c)(3) organization, the minerva foundation incs mission is to support the advancement of education, provide relief to the poor and underprivileged, support the defense of human and civil rights, and address public health issues. All board members serve on a volunteer basis donating anywhere from one week per month to up to three weeks per month depending on the capacity in which they serve and the number of events in the given month.purposethe minerva foundation works tirelessly to develop strong collaborations with our funding partners to maximize the results of their giving opportunities. The minerva foundation aims for sustainable support to a projects growth in the public as well as philanthropic sectors. Foundation grants, corporate contributions and donations from individuals play a vital role in the minerva foundations growth and quality. We rely largely on the goodwill and generosity of individuals who care about educational opportunity, physical and mental health initiatives, affordable housing, international issues and political awareness and involvement. Recent projects have included monthly mentoring programs with our partner the marietta roswell alumnae chapter of delta sigma theta sorority, inc. These programs focus on the success of girls ages 11-14 (delta academy) and young ladies in grades 9-12 (delta gems). We co-sponsored a cotillion debutante ball for 20+ young ladies where the top fundraisers were awarded scholarships.internally, we re-visited our strategic plan including our vision and mission. We also re-organized adding two new board members.”
