Governance Explanations

Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11B

A copy of the form 990 is provided to all members of the board of directors to be reviewed and approved before it is filed.

Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12C

The organization's conflict of interest policy is monitored through the board meetings. A board member with a conflict of interest is not permitted to vote on matters that benefit his/her interest. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15

The annual salary for the organization's executive director and any key employees is determined and approved each year by the board of directors.

Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 19

The governing documents, conflict of interest policy, and financial statements are made available to the public upon request.
